HGC Foundation

Hello All;

Just wanted to drop a quick note and let you know that HGC arrived safely in Phoenix and is well adjusted today.  I'm still up taking care of some tour work, but the rest of the group has crashed after having been up since at least 2:30am EST (and, for most of us, many hours before that).

Despite the heat and the exhaustion, we had a great rehearsal and an amazing dinner/pick-me-up at the Mexican restaurant I had been counting on.  The reception with the Harvard Club was also a great success.  For all the logistical work and arm-twisting that goes into planning a tour, it is remarkable how quickly meeting the Glee Club can turn even the most reluctance of hosts into huge supporters.

Of particular note for Nick, at the reception I had the good fortune to meet your predecessor as manager.  I believe the name was Noel Tyl; but it is rather late and I can't remember exactly.  In either case, he was delighted to find out I was interested in going into the arts and that I knew you.  He also asked me to say hello to you for him; so, with that, good tidings from the Valley of the Sun!
